This is a one year full time course. The purpose of this course is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence, to work independently and or take responsibility for the work of others in providing a range of services in a social and vocational rehabilitation context and or to progress to higher education and training.
Entry requirements:
Relevant QQI level 5 or it may be possible to access this programme through relevant life and work experience. All
applicants will be required to complete a suitability interview.

• Mental Health Awareness
• Learning Difficulty Awareness

• Personal and Professional Development
Certification: successful completion of this course will lead to a QQI level 6 certificate in Social and Vocational Integration.
Progression: achievement of this award will allow the learner to progress to many other relevant higher level programmes on the National Framework of Qualification at advanced entry (2nd year).
