Aim of this course
This is a one year full-time course which aims to provide a gateway for students interested in perusing a career in an
animal related field. The course is designed to equip students with the practical skills, knowledge and experience required to work directly with animals and as a foundation for further study in this arena.
Entry Requirements
Students will be expected to have passed their leaving certificate and /or have relevant life experience in this area.

On successful completion of this course students can progress into the world of work in several fields, Veterinary Nurse, Animal Care, Boarding Kennels and Cattery’s. Students may wish to progress to further education in this area also to level 6/7 courses.
