What is Wider Options?
This is a one year mature adult education programme, ideally suited to: people who have been in the home for a number of years or have retired, those working in minimum-wage jobs who wish to progress their career, mature people who left school early without a formal qualification, people with school going children who wish to do something for themselves.
The Course provides an introduction to the main areas of
business theory and training in the relevant computer practices
used in the modern office/business environment.
Entry Requirements?
There are no formal educational requirements for this course. Applicants must have a basic level of literacy (be able to read and write). Places are allocated on a first-come, first served basis and following a meeting with the course co-ordinator.

Course Duration
1 year (September to May). Monday to Friday with usual school holidays.
Class Times
Core classes are from 9.00 am - 1.10 pm daily to facilitate people with school going children. Optional modules available in the afternoons.
