Celebrating Achievement: Christina Sheridan O'Shea Receives L2LP Award
We are incredibly proud to celebrate a significant achievement in our school community. Christina, a dedicated and hardworking student from our ASD class, has been awarded the Level 2 Learning Programme (L2LP) Award for their outstanding progress and commitment throughout the academic year. Presenting the award is Mr. Evans, deputy principal.
The L2LP is designed by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) in Ireland to support students with additional educational needs, focusing on key areas such as Communication and Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Care, and Living in the Community. This award recognises the unique strengths, efforts, and achievements of students who engage with this programme.
Christina has shown exceptional growth not only in their academic work but also in personal development, independence, and social interaction. Their positive attitude, perseverance, and eagerness to learn have made a lasting impression on classmates and staff alike.
"Christina has come such a long way this year. Her confidence has grown, and they’ve become an active, joyful participant in school life. We are all very proud,” said Ms. Troy, ASD Class Coordinator Teacher.
This award is more than just a certificate — it is a recognition of the journey taken, the obstacles overcome, and the support of the entire school community working together to help every student reach their potential.
